Step back in time to the golden age of Jewish life in the Galilee and the Golan, where majestic ruins of ancient synagogues still stand as witnesses to thriving communities nearly 2,000 years ago.
Our journey begins in the Galilee, where we visit synagogues such as Bar’am and Meron, with their beautifully carved stone facades and inscriptions that echo voices of prayer from centuries past. In Katzrin, the ancient Jewish village of the Golan Heights, we step inside a reconstructed synagogue to experience how communities once gathered for study, worship, and celebration.
We continue to Gamla, often called the “Masada of the North,” where the remains of one of the oldest known synagogues in the world remind us of the courage and resilience of the Jewish people.
Throughout the day, breathtaking landscapes — from the green hills of the Galilee to the sweeping views of the Golan Heights — frame our journey, weaving together history, archaeology, and faith.
This tour offers not only a window into the Jewish past but also a chance to feel the continuity of Jewish tradition in the very places where it once flourished.
